You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with top industry talent and take ownership of the development process from initial concept to final product. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive the design and development of new gameplay mechanics, systems, and features.
- Create and maintain game design feature specs to clearly communicate design flows and functional details.
- Work with the design lead to present, pitch, and articulate design concepts to team members, leadership, and stakeholders to build consensus.
- Prototype and iterate on gameplay mechanics, using user testing and feedback to refine design direction.
- Propose innovative, player-centric systems and content that enhance engagement, retention, and monetization.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, art, narrative, product) to align on creative goals and execution.
- Balance and tune systems using spreadsheet modeling and data-driven analysis.
- Stay current on design trends and competitor products, particularly in casual titles with narrative and puzzle gameplay.
QUALIFICATIONS
degree or advanced diploma in Game Design or a related field.6+ years of game design experience, with at least 3 years on mobile titles.Proven experience designing meta features, systems, or content through full development cycles.Advanced spreadsheet and tuning skills, with a strong grasp of balancing economy and progression systems.Experience with genres such as hidden object, puzzle, or puzzle adventure games.Familiarity with Unity for prototyping and iterating gameplay mechanics.Excellent documentation and communication skills; able to present ideas clearly to varied audiences.Highly organized, collaborative, and feedback-oriented with strong ownership and follow-through.Creative problem solver with an innovative mindset.NICE TO HAVE
Experience shipping a new mobile game.Background working with licensed IP and narrative-driven projects.Able to multi-task like a pro - comfortable managing multiple features or design workstreams in parallel.
