\n\nJob Description\n

The Registered Nurse in Cardiac Telemetry will provide high-quality patient care on a post-cardiac surgery unit. Responsibilities include monitoring cardiac patients, managing intravenous therapies, and responding to acute patient needs. The nurse must demonstrate advanced skills in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing cardiac drips.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Monitor cardiac telemetry patients for changes in condition

    • \n

  • Manage and administer IV therapies and cardiac drips

    • \n

  • Perform sheath management and removal

    • \n

  • Provide care for patients with various cardiac conditions

    • \n

  • Respond to emergency situations with appropriate interventions

    • \n

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac telemetry environment

    • \n

  • ACLS and BLS certification required

    • \n

  • NIHSS certification preferred

    • \n

  • Skills in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and dysrhythmia management preferred
