Position Summary :
The NOC Engineer at Summit 7 is a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of our managed service provider (MSP) environments. This role focuses on developing and optimizing processes, managing vulnerabilities, and utilizing Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools to enhance our service delivery. As a point of escalation for the service desk analysts, you will drive effective project management and process improvements to meet client needs efficiently.
Essential Functions :
Create, document, and refine processes for handling NOC tickets and managing client environments.
Utilize RMM tools to monitor, manage, and configure client servers, endpoints, and devices.
Oversee and track client projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client expectations.
Design and implement remediation plans for identified vulnerabilities in client systems.
Handle proactive communications with clients, including setting expectations and providing updates during service outages.
Maintain detailed documentation for all client environments, including policies, standards, and procedures.
Assist the Network Engineer with outages and technical issues.
Additional Responsibilities :
Requirements :
Security+ CE Certification or equivalent IAT Level 2 certification.
Extensive experience with RMM tools and cloud technologies.
Demonstrated ability to manage and track projects, ensuring successful completion and client satisfaction.
Strong customer communication skills, capable of clear and effective interaction with both clients and technical personnel, especially in high-pressure situations.
Ability to work independently with a strong drive for professional development.
Experience in automating tasks and processes to enhance efficiency.
