The Program Scheduler is the principal for interactions with STS Vice President of Operations, Air Force Nuclear Weapon Center (AFNWC) Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) Prime Contractors, and Government leadership.   Responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining schedules for complex AFNWC complex programs and projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.   This role involves creating detailed schedules, monitoring progress, identifying potential delays, and coordinating with various stakeholders within the Nuclear Enterprise.

Essential Job Functions

Developing and maintaining schedules—Creating and updating project schedules using scheduling software, defining tasks, durations, and dependencies.

Monitoring project progress—Tracking project milestones, identifying potential delays or issues, and analyzing project data.

Coordinating with Stakeholders—Communicating with project managers, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and address any schedule-related concerns.

Risk management—Identifying potential schedule risks and developing mitigation strategies.

Reporting and analysis Creating and distributing schedule reports, analyzing schedule performance, and providing data-driven insights.

Resource allocation Assisting in the allocation of resources and balancing workloads.

Ensuring alignment with budgets and timelines Making sure that schedules are realistic and align with the overall project budget and timeline.

Facilitating meetings Scheduling and leading meetings to review and adjust schedules as needed

Required Experience

  • At least 5 years of related Unit, Numbered Air Force, MAJCOM, or Air Staff experience.
  • Experience with scheduling tools like Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar software.
  • Experience in Nuclear Surety is desirable.

Education

Required : Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
