Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work  ON-SITE with our client in  San Antonio, TX.  Interested?

Here's what you'd do :

  • Responsible for Operations Network Support – script development, device configuration management, system administration, hardware support, software support, maintenance, security, troubleshooting.
  • Responsible for solution design, development, integration and enhancements to meet the business needs and project requirements.
  • Also, responsible for documenting and developing operational procedures and provides end user support.
  • Ensures monitoring network engineering performance and system availability and reliability
  • Leads all configurations and installs of various network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
  • Performs highly complex network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
  • Monitors performance and ensure system availability and reliability
  • Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
  • Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures
  • Initiates, facilitates and promotes activities to create information security awareness within the organization.
  • Performs information security risk assessments and serves as an internal expert for information security related issues.
  • Provide Level 3 support and troubleshooting to resolve highly complex issues
  • Works within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to
  • the network infrastructure
  • Selects and implements security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company's security team using wide latitude for ndependent judgement.
  • Acts as the primary liaison with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

Pay :   $47.52 / hr.

Hours :   40 hrs / Week.

Length : Temp (24 months).

Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Computer Systems or Management Information Systems.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in system management for network engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in networking protocols (IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in OSI or TCP / IP models
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Network Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud environments
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Cisco ACI or Cisco Nexus Data Center technologies
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in key concepts in security management (vulnerability management, patch management, incident response)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Network Administrator in a field supporting critical systems and providing technical solutions.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supporting utility construction & maintenance.

    • Preferred Skills / Qualifications :

  • Skill in assessing security controls based on cybersecurity principles and frameworks.
  • Experience in supporting utility construction & maintenance.
  • Professional level networking certification ( CCNP, CCDP, F5-CTS, VmWare VCP, Vmare VCAP).
  • Demonstrating Initiative, Serving customers, Driving for Results, Evaluating and Implementing Ideas, Driving Continuous Improvement, Communicating Effectively.
