As a Senior UI / UX Designer, you will collaborate with the UX / UI Lead and Art Team to create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, design systems, and style guides. You will assist Game Designers and UI Engineers in building rapid prototypes in both Flat and VR environments. In this role, you will have the ability to take wireframes and bring them to life with visuals and animation. You will implement final art in Unreal Editor using UMG, animations, materials, etc.

Responsibilities

• Create intuitive and engaging user interfaces for a game product
• Develop and implement user interfaces and experiences for games
• Develop and maintain UI / UX specifications and style guides
• Develop wireframes, prototypes and interactive mock-ups to visualize design concepts
• Create AAA quality UI Art, implemented with Unreal Engine
• Conduct user research and usability testing to meet our product goals while understanding player needs and preferences
• Gather and integrate feedback from playtests and stakeholders to refine design
• Create and maintain design documentation, style guides, and design specifications for the development team
• Stay up to date with the latest UI / UX trends and best practices in the game industry

The annual salary range for this position in Los Angeles is $125,000 – $140,000. The salary offered may vary based on the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors.  The range indicated is for base salary only and does not reflect the total compensation package, including bonus, benefits, etc.
