Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology Unit

Crouse’s 34-bed Oncology Unit is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high quality, individualized care for cancer patients.

Pay Range : $39.00- $50.00 / hour.

$10,000 sign-on bonus for experienced RNs, $5,000 sign-on bonus for newly graduated RNs !

Available Schedule(s) : 7 : 00pm-7 : 30am M-F rotating weekends & holidays

Registered Nurse (RN) Position Responsibilities :

• Provides professional judgment and knowledge of roles as it pertains to the Crouse Hospital Professional Nursing Practice Model.
• Carries out duties and responsibilities per legal requirements under the Registered Nurse Scope of Practice, with emphasis on leading a culture of safe care.
• Responsible for all activities requiring assessment, planning, diagnosing, evaluating, judgment, problem-solving, creating and implementing the plan of care.
• Provides appropriate education to patients and families to promote health, facilitate rehabilitation and maintain wellness. Evaluates effectiveness and revises as appropriate.
• Monitors and evaluates patient responses to treatment / plan of care during hospital stay.
• Utilizes and engages in evidence-based practice to deliver quality patient care.
• Demonstrates characteristics and skills that promote critical thinking in clinical problem-solving situations.
