job_description.job_card.job_descriptionContribute to the assessment of patients and assure the well-being of patients. Administer medications and observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments. Perform laboratory tests and therapeutic services. Educate patients / families about disease treatment plan including self care post discharge, holistic health needs, available resources and follow up care. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program permit (GVN) obtained prior to start date or job transfer date is required-OR-Temporary or Current Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN / LVN) license to practice in the state of Texas is required or must be obtained prior to hire or job transfer date-OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition through the Nurse Licensure Compact is required or must be obtained prior to hire or job transfer date. High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Preferably with some clinic exp Flexible
