A Day in the Life

We have a great opportunity for an experienced ASIC / FPGA Digital Design Engineer with RTL experience in Verilog or VHDL - System Verilog preferred. Our Digital Designers also support verification and lab characterization. Put your skills using UVM, C, and Python to the test!

Roles and Responsibilities may include the following - other duties may be assigned :

Support Medtronic's Cardiac Rhythm Management portfolio of diagnostic, pacing, and defibrillation products

Works with architect and systems engineers to define and document requirements for the next IC iteration

Modify or develop new RTL files using System Verilog

Develop block level testbench and tests to simulate identified changes

Develop system level constrained random testcases using System Verilog to achieve coverage metrics

Work with physical designer to create block level constraints

Develop and execute characterization level testing on the hardware using python or other lab scripting languages

Requires a BS degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or an MS degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience or a PhD and 0 years of industry experience.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD) : $103,200.00 - $154,800.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification / education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
