Licensed Journeyman Electrician (Maintenance Focus)

Position Summary

Ultra Corpotech Inc. is seeking a skilled and licensed Journeyman Electrician with maintenance experience to join our growing team in Conroe, Texas. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems, machinery, and controls across the facility while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and company safety standards. The ideal candidate will also assist with mechanical maintenance and facility repairs as needed to support safe, efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, panels, wiring, and components according to NEC standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, drives, control panels, and lighting systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and complete associated checklists for all electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Support maintenance activities involving PLCs, sensors, relays, and other control systems.
• Assist with general facility maintenance tasks, including mechanical and structural repairs.
• Ensure all electrical work meets code and company quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and parts usage.
• Follow company safety procedures and utilize appropriate PPE at all times.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve issues quickly and minimize downtime.
• Participate in continuous improvement, safety meetings, and training programs.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

This position operates primarily in a manufacturing and facility maintenance environment. Work may involve exposure to heat, electrical currents, noise, and mechanical equipment. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)-including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe boots-is required. The role requires standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Occasional overtime, on-call, or weekend work may be required based on maintenance needs.
