Qualifications :

  • Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current IL SLP license .
  • PEL with SLP endorsement .
  • Experience with AAC, functional communication needs, speech sound disorders, and IEP paperwork is preferred.

    • Role Summary :

    As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will develop and implement individualized education and treatment programs for students whose communication abilities have been affected by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. You will work in a supportive school setting with young learners and have the opportunity to make a long-lasting difference in their development.

    Job Details :

  • Dates : ASAP - 6 / 05 / 2026
  • Hours : 8 : 30am - 3 : 30pm
  • Setting : Early Childhood through 8th grade
  • Caseload : Varied needs, including significant disabilities, ASD, cognitive impairments, medical needs, and behavior; primarily non-verbal students with limited communication requiring AAC or other visual communication methods.
  • Work setting : In-person only

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage specialized materials, equipment, and the environment essential to the speech and language program.
  • Provide educationally related communication interventions for students with language, speech, or hearing disorders.
  • Assess speech and language skills of students suspected of having communication disorders and collaborate with teachers to develop IEP goals and objectives.
  • Offer resources, modeling strategies, and training to other team members in communication interventions.
  • Communicate regularly with school staff (both special and general education), parents, and where applicable, the students regarding individual assessment results and progress.
