Security Technician

Position Summary

Anistar is seeking an experienced security technician to provide assistance with the installation and testing of various types of fire alarm and security systems.

Scope of Work :

• Installation of fire alarm, burglar / intrusion alarm systems, and access control systems (e.g., Bosch, Honeywell, Silent Knight, EST, DMP, etc.)
• Must be capable with device and panel installation, headend equipment, cabling, and able to connect to the network.
• Fire stop various types of cable and security penetrations
• Must have experience troubleshooting and providing technical support both on-site and remotely
• Possess working knowledge of ANSI / TIA / EIA cabling standards and National Electric Code
• Must be open to travel out of the local area for up to 2-4 weeks at a time. Hotel and per diem will be provided, as well as compensation for mileage and drive time.

Tools / PPE :

Basic technician hand tools. PPE Provided. Some job sites will be new construction, others will be existing.
