Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for children and adolescents (typically ages 6-26) in a part‑time capacity. The ideal candidate will be committed to improving mental health outcomes for young patients and comfortable working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Flexible part‑time hours (e.g., 15–22 hours / week). Afternoon availability is required; some evening or weekend hours may be offered depending on patient demand!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments of children and adolescents.
• Diagnose and manage a range of mental health conditions including ADHD, anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorders, and mood disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy recommendations.
• Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, school personnel, and family members.
• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA and Georgia state regulations.
• Participate in case conferences, clinical supervision, and team meetings.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in child and adolescent psychiatry.
