Requires excellent interpersonal organization and time management skills.
Trustbridge Hospice a part of Empath Health is seeking a dependable and customer service oriented DME Technician / Driver to join our team in Deerfield Beach.
This full-time position works Monday through Friday 1 p.m. 9 : 30 p.m and weekend / on-call based on departmental / company needs.
Since 1978 Trustbridge Hospice has cared for more than 200000 South Florida families. As a community-based nonprofit we provide 24 / 7 hospice and palliative care along with caregiver support and bereavement services for families facing serious illness.
What Youll Do
- Provides pick-up and delivery services for all DME and oxygen equipment to patients and families.
- Instructs clients as to the proper use of equipment.
- Responsible for the final inspection of equipment prior to delivery.
- Completes home safety assessment relating to patients environment for safety purposes.
- Maintains quality compliance and adheres to all infection control practices and policies.
- This position involves direct contact with patients and families so must communicate effectively and provide a high level of customer service.
