SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE :

Under ongoing supervision, the Fitter-Welder fits elbows and welds, cleans and grinds fabricated products. Lays out, fit and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms while meeting all quality and safety standards. May assist in coordinating activities of welders for special welding techniques and / or procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Assists in the departmental housekeeping and safety efforts and works collaboratively with other members of the department and production counterparts to ensure production workflow.

FCAW weld qualified and / or the ability to pass weld test.
