Campus Location : Colorado Springs Hospital Position Title : Behavioral Health Specialist Length of Assignment : 13 Weeks Assignment Dates : 12 / 2 / 2025 3 / 7 / 2025 Shift : 12H Days | 6 : 45 AM 7 : 15 PM Requirements & Qualifications Float Requirement : Inpatient unit (Med Surg or PICU) Weekend Requirement : As needed On Call Requirement : None Minimum Education : Bachelors degree in psychology, social services, human services, education, biology, neuroscience, or a related field OR four (4) years of equivalent work experience in pediatric mental health Licensure / Certification : BLS / CPR certification (Healthcare Provider level) required De-escalation training (to be obtained within 90 days of hire; provided by CHCO) Safety Care certification (provided after orientation if not already held) Preferred Qualifications : Pediatric mental health experience, preferably in a hospital setting Previous travel experience required FLOAT : Client reserves the right to float or reassign Personnel to other areas of practice within their clinical competence to fulfill the scheduled guaranteed hours and within thirty-five (35) miles of their originally assigned facility (unless otherwise agreed to in such Personnels individual assignment confirmation). Additional Information No RTO approved within the first two weeks of assignment. Medical and religious exemption requests from the seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed.
