Qualifications

  • Friendly and customer-focused with a professional appearance.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask under pressure.
  • Comfortable walking and standing for long periods and working outdoors.
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Basic computer knowledge and customer service experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
  • Morning, evening, and weekend availability; overtime may occasionally be necessary.

    • Job Responsibilities

  • Perform oil changes and maintenance as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, adhering to dealership and factory standards.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections, including fluid levels, tire pressure, and safety checks, and recommend necessary services.
  • Communicate effectively with the parts department and service advisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely updates.
  • Document all work performed and recommended services on repair orders.
  • Road test vehicles to verify repairs or refer them to a test technician as needed.
  • Participate in paid manufacturer-sponsored training to stay updated on technical advancements and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all dealership-owned tools and equipment are used safely and responsibly.
  • Comply with all safety regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA guidelines.
  • Report any machinery defects, safety concerns, or changes to vehicle condition immediately to management.
