Position Summary :

The Emory Pain Center is seeking a dynamic and collaborative clinical psychologist with expertise in pain management to join our interdisciplinary team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering evidence-based psychological interventions to patients with complex acute and chronic pain while also contributing to integrated clinical care education and research efforts.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing academic pain program committed to innovation comprehensive care and improving quality of life for patients through interdisciplinary approaches.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Provide individual and group-based psychological assessments and interventions for patients with chronic pain conditions (e.g. CBT ACT mindfulness-based approaches).
• Participate in integrated care models alongside physicians APPs and other specialists to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Work collaboratively with faculty to design and implement protocols that embed behavioral health into perioperative pain care pathways opioid tapering and neuromodulation.
• Support the development and delivery of educational programs for pain fellows residents and medical students.
• Contribute to clinical research and quality improvement projects related to behavioral pain medicine.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and adherence to best practices and ethical standards.
