• Nurse Anesthetists : Administer general and regional anesthesia, monitor patients, and assist in training medical personnel.
• Primary Care Nurse Practitioners : Provide comprehensive health care for service members and their families.
• Medical-Surgical Nurses : Provide direct nursing care of patients and assume charge nurse responsibilities.
• Perioperative Nurses : Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care of surgical patients.
• Critical Care Nurses : Provide highly skilled nursing care to critical patients, including en route care.

Work Environment Navy Nurses may serve at more than 250 Navy medical facilities worldwide, aboard hospital ships, or with Marine Forces.
