The Role
We're looking for a Field Marketing Manager to join the team. This person will be embedded in our growth team and be the first hire to own the end-to-end strategy and execution of our field marketing channel. You'll work closely with product marketing, developer relations, and sales to create thoughtful in-person touchpoints with our developer audience. In this role, you will :
Generate creative new ideas for events big and small, from small dinners to community happy hours to massive conferences.
Stay in tune with our target audience and adapt to their interests over time.
Work with marketing and sales to identify the right profiles and segments to create events for.
Own the promotion and coordination for these events to ensure they are effective.
Become a trusted representative and messenger of Modal's product, value, and brand.
Set the right objectives and measure outcomes for every in-person engagement we invest in.
Help with event management for internal events when needed.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who :
Has 3+ years experience working at a tech company in a marketing or marketing-adjacent function.
Is excited about getting embedded in the AI developer community (or is a part of it already)!
Is energetic, social, and understands the importance of building relationships in person.
Is extremely detail-oriented and organized.
Is excited about working in-person in either the SF or NYC office, with travel up to 25% of the time.
