The City of Pearland, TX is seeking to hire a full-time Budget Analyst to support and improve aspects of the day-to-day operations of our Office of Management and Budget . The Budget Analyst earns a competitive salary of $61,921.87-$78,950.39 / based on experience . Additionally, the city pays all premiums for our employees' dental, long-term disability protection, and life insurance plus the majority portion of the medical premium for employees and their dependents. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BUDGET ANALYST
Job Summary :
The purpose of the job within the organization is to provide assistance to assigned departments in the preparation and oversight of their annual budgets, utilizing historical data, and current year-to-date information and future goals. This position is responsible for some day to day and monthly tax and budgetary requirements.

Education, Experience, and Licenses :
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, public administration or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Four (4) year's of municipal government experience in budget, performance management, or accounting.
Microsoft Suite proficiency : advanced Excel proficiency preferred.
Valid, Class "C" Texas Driver's License
