ASIC Engineer

Title : ASIC Engineer V Location : Folsom, CA Schedule : Mon – Fri, 8AM – 5PM PST Note : This is a W2 contract opportunity, and it is NOT open to C2C or 3rd party candidates The ASIC Engineer will oversee the definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development. They will determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulations. They will defines module interfaces / formats for simulation, contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits, and evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use. They may also analyze equipment to establish operation data, conduct experimental tests, evaluate results, and review vendor capability to support development. Position Qualificaitons : 10+ years of relevant experience Abilty to drive initialization, reset flows, and design implications to other blocks Abilty to drive different clock domain crossing, distribution, and dependency Abilty to drive power-domains, level-shifting, and power-management requirements Abilty to drive DFX requirements, including BSCAN and JTAG A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other relevant field Note : This is a W2 contract opportunity, and it is NOT open to C2C or 3rd party candidates
