Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Hematologist / Oncologist to join the Pediatric Hematology / Oncology Division at K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative, academic, and patient-centered environment dedicated to providing exceptional care to children and adolescents.The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and strong communication with a commitment to outstanding patient care.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Provide comprehensive medical care for pediatric patients with hematologic and oncologic diseases.
• Collaborate with the Division Chief on strategic planning and program development.
• Participate in 24-hour practice coverage (on-call responsibilities).
• Engage in Performance and Quality Improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with nursing leadership on policy development, patient satisfaction, and clinical initiatives.
• Serve as an educational resource for nursing staff, residents, fellows, hospitalists, and community physicians.
• Actively participate in medical / surgical committees as assigned.
• Develop, supervise, and contribute to research projects within the division.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of professional billing documentation.
• Respond to patient surveys and grievances related to quality of care.

COMPENSATION :

Minimum Starting Base Salary : $173,062.00

Internal Equity : Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and / or sub-specialty.

Budget and Grant Funding : Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
