The individual in this role is often on the path to becoming a subject matter expert and is invested in deep learning and performance to support our teams and our clients.

The Sr. Architectural Designer performs analyses of design, planning and occupancy studies and design layouts for projects. Reporting to a Project Manager or Principal, you write and review plans / estimates and develop detailed models in AutoCAD and Revit, mindfully accounting for accurate field conditions. In this position you are independent and work on complex, moderate to large size projects.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• Professional degree in architecture from an accredited institution preferred
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience
• Ability to comprehend and carry out complex instructions
• Technical skill in programs such as Revit, Bluebeam, the Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp and other 3D visualization tools
• An ability to work both independently and as a member of a team while juggling diverse projects
• Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to correspond with clients, consultants and other project personnel
• A foundational understanding of construction methods and materials, with a willingness to learn more
• Familiarity with governing codes and standards as well as sustainable design strategies
