About the Role :

The Director of Nursing Homecare is responsible for overseeing and leading the delivery of high-quality nursing care services within our Home Care Department. This role ensures that patient care standards meet regulatory requirements and align with the organization's mission to provide compassionate, effective, and personalized care. The Director will develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve patient outcomes, staff performance, and operational efficiency. They will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, patients, families, and external partners to foster a supportive and compliant care environment. Ultimately, this position drives excellence in home nursing care through leadership, innovation, and continuous quality improvement.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role within homecare or long-term care settings.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, homecare standards, and patient safety protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex care operations.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Certification in Home Care Nursing or Nursing Leadership (e.g., CHPN, NE-BC).
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare data analytics.
  • Proven track record in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with community health resources and patient advocacy.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage the nursing homecare team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of nursing staff.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor care protocols and policies to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Coordinate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers, patients, and families to ensure individualized and effective care delivery.
  • Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and operational planning to optimize service delivery and maintain financial sustainability.
  • Monitor quality assurance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies, healthcare partners, and community organizations to maintain accreditation and foster collaborative relationships.
  • Provide leadership in crisis management and problem resolution related to patient care and staff concerns.
