Stewardship Leader Position
Stewardship Leader needed by Celanese Corporation in Florence, KY to develop, communicate, and implement daily stewardship focus. Identifying emerging issues. Conducting RCAs and escalating issues. Coordinate with the Stewardship Facilitator to identify and remove stewardship roadblocks. Use EIP second verification with LF for DCS control. Perform Lock Management for the LOTO process. Conduct EIP Conformance Audits. Communicate and strategize activities with the Daily Execution Leader. Complete and engage core team in safety leading indicators. Complete field assessments of stewardship execution, develop and administer feedback measures, and reviewing results for drift prevention and future alignment. Manage the stewardship section of Conduct of Operations for the unit operation. Conduct HazRecs and NM evaluation. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Obtain the necessary approvals on stewardship-related plans to allow the 24 / 7 team to perform uninterrupted work and maintenance. Track established environmental and safety compliance parameters and quickly escalate if any deviations or violations have occurred. Train members of the Core Team in stewardship programs, initiatives, best practices, and Tier III policies. Engage and excite the organization around stewardship. Facilitate and generate ideas and implement improvement projects. Promote the Safety Culture Assessment (SCA) program in the unit and drive safety culture. Audit life critical permits, ConOps, and tracking of unit observation data. Perform root cause analysis (RCA). Maintain compliance of EHS requirements for daily execution. Field evaluation of procedure usage. Drive environmental and safety compliance. Lead in field review of safety and environmental policies with 24 / 7 operations team. Train members of manufacturing team in safety and environmental programs, initiatives, best practices, and knowledge shares. Promote a culture of engagement within team to address safety and environmental issues and build capability of all operations. Conduct HazRecs and near miss evaluations.
Minimum Requirements : Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering or Engineering and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience in a related occupation maintaining compliance of EHS requirements for daily execution; conducting Field evaluation of procedure usage; driving environmental and safety compliance; leading in field review of safety and environmental policies with 24 / 7 operations team; training members of manufacturing team in safety and environmental programs, initiatives, best practices, and knowledge shares; promoting a culture of engagement within team to address safety and environmental issues and build capability of all operations; and conducting HazRecs and near miss evaluations.
