Healthcare Collections Position
LHH is seeking a motivated and inquisitive Part-Time Collections Specialist to support a great healthcare team. This position will be collecting on client accounts who use our services to secure healthcare benefit discounts for their organizations.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about collections , loves digging into account details, and thrives in a research-heavy, client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct collections outreach on outstanding client invoices via phone and email
Proactively research and clean up accounts to ensure accurate billing records
Coordinate with the Client Services team to manage and return collection efforts when necessary
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients
Take initiative in understanding and improving the collections process
Confidently handle high-volume outbound phone calls to clients regarding balances
Maintain thorough documentation and records of communications and payment arrangements
Use Excel to generate reports, analyze data, and manage account information
Required Qualifications :
Proven experience in a collections role (client-based collections highly preferred). Someone who also has knowledge of AR / Billing in healthcare is highly preferred.
Strong phone presence — not afraid to pick up the phone and speak with clients regularly
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to analyze, research, and dig into account issues with a high level of attention to detail
MUST HAVE : Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including :
VLOOKUP (required)
Pivot tables
Formulas
Report generation

Details :
Location : Fully Remote, must be able to work MST hours.
Pay Range : $20-$23 (Depending on experience)
Schedule : Part-Time | 20–25 hours / week | Flexible hours (morning or afternoon)
Duration : Contract – Open-Ended
Pay Details : $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
