Job Title : Quality Inspector / Quality Technician

Location : Grandville, MI

Shift : 2nd and 3rd shift available

Pay : $18-20 / hr

Position Summary :

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for monitoring and verifying product quality throughout the production process. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of quality standards, and the ability to work closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.

Key Responsibilities :

Inspect raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.

Conduct quality checks including measurements, visual inspections, and performance testing.

Document and report quality results, defects, and nonconformances to supervisors.

Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation to address recurring issues.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and quality reports.

Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to uphold product quality and consistency.

Follow company policies, safety regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in quality a plus.

1+ year of quality assurance / inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Ability to use measurement tools (calipers, tape measures, micrometers, etc.).

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
