About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its national advocacy and awareness efforts in reducing the harm associated with problem gambling. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include collaborating with the Board to refine and deliver the organization's strategic plan, leading the evolution of the business model, and anticipating and responding to emerging trends in gambling, technology, and public health. The role also involves serving as a key spokesperson, building and maintaining strategic partnerships, and driving efforts to grow and diversify the organization's membership. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with an advanced degree or relevant certification preferred, and a minimum of 10 years' senior management experience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of behavioral health, nonprofit management, and a track record of fundraising and driving mission-related revenue streams. Strong advocacy, public relations, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to engage and build consensus among diverse groups.
