Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ED - Emergency Department Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 23 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Opportunity : RN - ER Job Details : Work 12-hour shifts in Level I Trauma Center Emergency Department Required to work 3 weekends (Friday-Sunday) per 4-week schedule Patient ratios range from 1 : 5-6 during regular hours, up to 1 : 8 during high volume periods and holidays Float to Pediatric Emergency Department when necessary No on-call requirements Must be willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving / Day After, Christmas Eve / Christmas Day, New Year's Eve / New Year's Day) May request one holiday off per contract Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required Level I trauma experience required EPIC charting experience required Required certifications : Michigan RN License, ACLS, BCLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC, NIH Preferred certification : ENPC Must complete 36 hours of orientation and non-billable modules before starting Care for patients of all ages including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Handle high-acuity emergency cases including trauma, stroke, cardiac emergencies Experience with continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation, dysrhythmia interpretation and management preferred Daily census approximately 250 patients with 100 beds RTO must be submitted at time of submittal with 5-day maximum policy Locals accepted with same pay structure Facility : This healthcare facility operates as a comprehensive Level I Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center, and Pediatric Emergency Department.
