We are hiring a Medical Billing & Collections Specialist in our Thousand Oaks Branch.

The base hourly range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $25-30 per / hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, licensure, skills, and experience.

What you will do :

  • Collect accounts receivable
  • Check medical claim status and file appeals
  • Performs secondary billing of co-pays and deductibles
  • Resolves accounts receivable issues and determines need for additional collection actions as necessary.
  • Consistently meets project and monthly deadlines as established.

    • Who you are :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, associate degree is preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Ability to multitask and problem solve
  • Excellent customer service
  • Collections, healthcare insurance, and accounts receivable experience are preferred
  • This is Not a Remote Position.
