Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Fitters / Welders for projects located in and around Olean, NY . This is a second shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $35 / hour based on experience plus $125 / Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope :

• Fit and weld steel components according to blueprints and shop drawings
• Perform material handling, staging, preassembly, and general shop support
• Fabricate bridge and heavy structural components
• Perform FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) using 1 / 8" wire
• Complete test position 14F in compliance with AWS D1.5 standards
• Collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and team leads to ensure weld integrity and schedule compliance
• Maintain quality, dimensional tolerances, and adherence to project specs
• Tack and fit materials accurately and safely
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area

Requirements :

Certified or capable of passing FCAW 1 / 8 flux core and SMAW 7018 welding tests
