Cost Estimator Manager

About the Job :

Our Concrete Construction Company is currently looking for a Cost Estimator Manager who is goal-oriented, a leader, and self-motivated.

Requirements :

• The successful applicant will be responsible for reading and analyzing documentation and blueprints to prepare accurate estimates for labor, time, cost, and material.
• Will also consult with vendors, clients, and construction foremen in order to formulate competitive and realistic bids.
• The Cost Estimator Manager is a Sales Team Leader and coordinates when preparing the estimates for bids.
• During the process, may consult with the clients, engineers, architects, and others for the preparation of such bids.
• The Cost Estimator Manager maintains communication with DICO field operations, concrete suppliers, in-house engineering staff;
• Performs a variety of administrative tasks, including occasional scheduling of concrete and answering phones.
• Knowledge of Auto Cad and Revit, a big plus.
• The ideal candidate will have the capacity to work in a busy office environment where multi-tasking, prioritizing, and attention to detail are required.
• Should have working knowledge about concrete placement, reinforcing, and finishing, and the capacity to recommend ways to make a project more profitable or cost-effective.
