Unit Overview :
Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit , where you will be caring for a diverse array of patients including :
Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Patients with hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program .A high volume of cervical and spinal surgery cases, in addition to medical overflow patients .As part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII) , this role offers you the opportunity to work with the latest neurosurgical techniques and advanced patient care.

Current Registered Nurse license from Wisconsin.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.Education Required :
Completion of an accredited nursing program.Experience Required :
Generally requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :
Ability to provide holistic patient care with a focus on patient and family needs.Confidence in recognizing situations needing immediate interventions.Proficiency in electronic medical records and communication tools.Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to make independent decisions while working collaboratively with others.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Time management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks.Skills in coordination, collaboration, and team building.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
