Low Country Quisine is looking for reliable, skilled Event Cooks to support our catering team at off-site events on an as-needed basis. This position is perfect for experienced cooks who enjoy working in different environments and thrive in fast-paced event settings.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare, cook, and serve food on-site at events according to LCQ standards
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist with event setup, kitchen organization, and breakdown
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing Low Country Quisine
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail
  • Requirements :

  • At least 2 years of experience cooking in a catering or event-based setting
  • Valid Food Handler’s Certification
  • Able to stand for long periods and lift a minimum of 60 pounds
  • Must work well under pressure and in changing environments
  • Reliable transportation to travel to off-site events across the DFW Metroplex
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
