CNC Operator

Our ProCraft Cabinetry Production Machinery Operator will be accountable for the following job responsibilities when working with table saws, CNC routers, and edge banding machines. The Operator will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the machinery based on the maintenance schedule. Training in machinery will be provided by the company; however, basic knowledge of operation is preferred. The Operator will be responsible for updating the status of jobs in progress and those completed using the company’s shop floor management software.  It is the responsibility of the Operator to work with other team members on various machines to keep up with the production schedule.   This role reports directly to the Production Lead / Supervisor.  Please be prepared for cross-training through the general production line based on the needs of the company and as directed by the Supervisor and General Manager

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities :

Machine Operation :

• Produce machine wood parts by programming, setting up, and operating various pieces of equipment.
• Understanding of how to operate and manage table saws, CNC routers, and edge banding machines to produce cabinetry components according to specifications.
• Set up and adjust machines for each production run, ensuring proper calibration and alignment.

Team Collaboration :

Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth production workflow. Assist in other departments as required and / or instructed.

Assist in training new operators on machinery operation and safety procedures.

Expected and essential knowledge, skills, and abilities :

New employees will receive a 90-day evaluation on these noted expectations after hire with their Direct Manager to ensure all job-related expectations are being met to continue employment with ProCraft Cabinetry Phoenix.

Job Type : Full-time.

Pay : $18-$25 / hour, depending on qualifications and experience

Schedule : 8-hour shift; Monday to Friday, starting 7 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm.
