Experience Preferred : Prior medical knowledge, techniques, and information for finger stick monitors is a strong plus Skills Reading, writing, mathematic calculations pertinent to position, computer skills Excellent oral communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment Able to follow direction A reliable form of transportation High degree of professionalism, including keeping Protected Health Information confidentiality Able to stand and sit for long periods of time Must be able to lift greater than 30 lbs Able to take and explain manual blood pressure readings Licensure / Certification / Registration Required : Active Driver's License
Summary
- CoxHealth Corporate and Employee Wellness is seeking qualified Biometric Health Screening professionals to deliver exceptional service to our community partners in a high-volume work environment. Biometric Health Screener will be responsible for performing biometric measurements such as manual blood pressure, height, weight, waist circumference and other health screening services based on service package and corporate location.
- Individuals will be trained on how to collect Capillary Puncture “finger-stick” blood sample collections using CardioCheck Plus testing monitors for analyzing lipid panel and glucose levels. The Biometric Health Screener will help maintain all finger-stick logs to sustain CLIA certification, and assist with any additional training that is necessary for finger-sticks. Individuals will be responsible for greeting wellness patients, registering patients, creating participation documentation, uploading eligibility files, data entry of results collected, invoicing, stocking supplies and performing post-screening health consultation based on measurements collected. Biometric Health Screener will assist with screening event setup and tear down including, but not limited to, loading and unloading supplies and driving company vehicle.
