General Summary

The welder is responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools. Flexible hours or PT work available if that is what you are looking for.

Essential Job Accountabilities

• Perform welding operations on pipe, vessels, structural skids and other equipment.
• Ability to weld both CS and SS piping.
• Layout, cut, fit and otherwise prepare material for welding.
• Fabricate material from piping schematics and other drawings, working from blueprints, sketches or verbal instructions.
• Operate oxy-acetylene torch to cut, braze, weld and solder.
• Responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of all facilities and equipment as needed.
• Perform quality detailing work, grinding, polishing, etc.
• Identify, report and correct safety and environmental concerns, performing all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete all appropriate documentation and paperwork.
