Physical Therapist - Acute Care / Inpatient / Skilled Nursing

A full-time Physical Therapist is needed to provide comprehensive therapy services across acute care, inpatient, and skilled nursing settings in Wisconsin Dells. This position offers a varied caseload in a collaborative environment focused on delivering quality outcomes and patient-centered care.

Qualifications :

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Licensed (or eligible) as a Physical Therapist in the state of Wisconsin
• CPR certification required
• Prior experience in acute care or skilled nursing is preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills

Position Responsibilities :

In this role, the Physical Therapist will perform daily evaluations and deliver evidence-based treatments to patients across hospital and skilled nursing settings. Working closely with a collaborative team-including occupational and speech therapists, nursing staff, and case managers-the PT ensures continuity and quality of care throughout each patient's stay. Responsibilities include documenting patient progress, reassessing needs, and adjusting care plans. The Physical Therapist will also educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals and techniques to support recovery beyond the facility and actively participate in discharge planning and interdisciplinary meetings to promote safe, effective transitions.
