Position Summary :

Paw Oasis Pet Resort is seeking a part-time time reliable, detail-oriented Janitorial / Housekeeper to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for both pets and team members. This role is essential to the success of our daily operations and directly contributes to the health and comfort of the animals in our care.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works efficiently without constant supervision, and demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility and urgency in cleaning.

Compensation : 15 - $17 hourly

Responsibilities :

Facility Cleaning & Sanitation

  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of floors, walls, windows, restrooms, and high-touch areas.
  • Clean pet suites, play areas, and bathing stations using pet-safe chemicals.
  • Follow strict protocols for kennel cleaning, including proper disposal of pet waste.
  • Wash, dry, and fold pet bedding, towels, and laundry throughout the day.

Supply & Maintenance Support

  • Restock cleaning supplies and alert management when inventory is low.
  • Notify leadership of any maintenance needs, damages, or safety hazards.
  • Help organize storage rooms and maintain clean utility and laundry areas.

    • Support of Animal Care Operations

  • Assist with general cleanliness of areas pets travel through, including entrances and exits.
  • Ensure that all back-of-house areas remain clean during business hours.
  • Support the team with occasional light duties such as holding animals for cleaning purposes or transporting supplies.

    • Qualifications : Hours Needed :

    3 : 30 pm to 8 pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday 2-8 pm and Sunday 11-8 pm. Weekends will be on rotation. Part-time hours : 20-30 hours weekly(full-time not available).

    Qualifications : Hours Needed :

  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-focused.
  • Must be comfortable around dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds.
  • Ability to lift 40+ lbs and be on the feet for long periods.
  • Weekend and holiday availability preferred.

    Paw Oasis Pet Resort (formerly known as Bliss Pet Resort Castle Hills) is a large luxury dog daycare, boarding, and grooming spa located in the Castle Hills area of The Colony, TX. We offer dog boarding, daycare, grooming, and training services.

    Our focus is on providing exceptional customer service and quality care in a luxury resort atmosphere. We opened our doors in August of 2021 to this 10,000 square foot facility with 30,000 square feet of play yards and an in-ground pool for the dogs!
