Health & Fitness Specialist

Position contingent upon contract award

As the Health & Fitness Specialist , you will design, implement, and monitor comprehensive health and wellness programs for cleared personnel, ensuring physical readiness and long-term wellness in a high security environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Develop individualized and group fitness programs based on client goals, capabilities, and medical considerations.
• Conduct fitness assessments, including body composition, cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and mobility screenings.
• Lead group exercise classes and provide one-on-one personal training sessions.
• Promote injury prevention, rehabilitation, and recovery strategies.
• Track participation metrics and progress reports, while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and classified protocols.
• Educate personnel on nutrition, stress management, sleep hygiene, and overall wellness.
• Monitor and maintain fitness equipment and facility cleanliness according to safety standards.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :

Certification from a nationally recognized organization such as :
