Job Title

~ Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

~ Full-time, on-site, night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical unit, including post-op, orthopedic, neuro, and trauma patients

Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, including dysrhythmia management

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed

Assist with surgical procedures such as total joint replacements, hysterectomies, and other orthopedic or neurosurgical cases

Document patient care accurately using Cerner or equivalent EHR system

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

Current IN RN license in hand (no pending licenses accepted)

Minimum of 1.5 years of RN experience in a related setting

BLS certification required; NIHSS and ACLS preferred

Ability to work rotating weekends and major holidays (must work 2 out of 3 major holidays)

Candidates must have current immunizations and pass background and compliance checks

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with neurological, orthopedic, or trauma units

Knowledge of and ability to interpret dysrhythmias

Experience with Cerner or similar electronic charting systems

$1980 includes taxable hourly rate plus meals and lodging stipend.
