About the Role
The Provider Development Specialist plays a key role in supporting shared living providers and other direct support professionals, ensuring individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities receive exceptional care and support. This position is rooted in quality assurance with a genuine focus on building relationships, fostering excellence, and empowering providers to deliver their best.

Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Support : Serve as the primary point of contact for shared living providers and direct support staff, offering guidance, encouragement, and practical solutions to everyday challenges.
Quality Assurance : Monitor and promote high standards of care, ensuring that all supports provided align with organizational values and best practices.
Resource & Training Coordination : Connect providers with resources, training opportunities, and tools to enhance their skills and confidence.
Community Engagement : Build and maintain strong connections within the community, identifying opportunities for activities, partnerships, and provider recruitment.
Problem Solving : Address concerns or barriers faced by providers, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate.
Administrative Support : Complete necessary documentation and administrative tasks from home, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
Fieldwork : Visit community providers to offer hands-on support, mentorship, and recognition.

No Direct Experience Required : We value potential and heart over prior experience—training and mentorship are provided.
Work Environment
Hybrid Position : Administrative work can be completed from home; community visits and in-person support are essential parts of the role.
Flexible Schedule : Work is driven by the needs of providers and the community, not by office hours.
