Morning Show Newscast Producer
KAMR Local 4 News in Amarillo, Texas, is looking for a morning show producer. This person must be able to take control of a newscast and put a great product on the air. You must be a good writer, have good news judgment, be detail-oriented, work well under pressure, work well with others, and be a hard worker. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Produces newscasts for broadcast across all platforms
- Writes and orders news stories
- Approves scripts
- Balances news and feature content to create compelling broadcasts
- Edits video
- Writes stories for the website and other eMedia platforms
- Interacts with viewers and users on social media sites
- Performs other duties as assigned
