Backend Engineer

A company is looking for a Backend Engineer focused on Seller Growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and scale systems for identity verification, fraud detection, and automated trust / risk reviews Ensure new sellers can sell successfully while maintaining buyer experience and preventing abuse Design reusable trust and reputation systems and collaborate with Data Science and Trust teams Required Qualifications 5+ years of software engineering experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience Experience building scalable systems, primarily using Python, Elixir, or JavaScript Ability to work across both backend and frontend Experience with SQL and data pipeline technologies
