Description : About Us

Since our establishment in 2004, Interglass has been dedicated to the wholesale distribution of glass and mirror products. With a combined footprint of 144,000 sqft of warehouse space and our specialized fleet of trucks which includes Boom Trucks, Rack Trucks and Tractor-trailers. We efficiently perform in-house all of our local logistics needs such as : customs clearance, drayage, warehousing and deliveries. This, combined with our extraordinary employees give us the ability to exceed our customer needs.

Job Summary :

  • Company Driver (W2, Solo)
  • Local / Regional
  • 25 per hour starting pay
  • 4 days on, 3 days off
  • 800 - 1,500 avg. miles per week
  • Dedicated, Line Haul
  • Day shift
  • Home every weekend

Responsibilities :

  • Drive a truck to deliver sheets or glass boxes to the customer's job site.
  • Check vehicles to ensure fragile mechanical products and safety equipment are in good working condition.
  • Follow proper safety procedures for transportation.
  • Maintain records of work hours following applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Cash checks from some customers when needed.
  • Record delivery information on packing lists.
  • Picks up or picks up empty containers or rejected goods.
  • Load the truck and secure the products to prevent damage.
  • Gets the customer's signature on the delivery receipt.
  • Clean the inside of the truck.
  • Perform daily inspections on trucks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements : Hiring Requirements

  • Class A CDL license
  • 18-24 months minimum Tractor Trailer experience
  • Adherence to compliance and safety regulations
  • Punctuality and flexibility
  • Strong customer service skills
