Qualifications

Three or more years of relevant multimedia experience.

Keen eye for design and design principals.

Advanced knowledge of WordPress website content management system.

Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva and InDesign.

Working knowledge of using a DSLR camera to take still photos.

A portfolio that demonstrates these abilities.

Ability to interpret data and use that to help with designs.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Effective relationship building skills with internal staff, partners, and a wide variety of diverse groups from industry, academia, government, and the community.

All of these points apply to all of External Relations including Alumni, Career Services, Foundation and all of the Osage View.

A proven ability to provide excellent customer service.

This position also requires the ability to effectively address multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Responsibilities

Work with the External Relations team to assist in the marketing strategy for the division.

Assist in the web presence of Career Services, Alumni, Foundation and the Osage View as a tool for marketing and development, increased employer and alumni relations. Create new content as well as update existing content on the website.

Assist in the development of electronic media and related marketing materials.

Assist in photo and video shoots for all promotional materials.

Help create engaging and compelling media for our social media channels (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn)

Continue to learn and be willing to engage with emerging technologies in marketing to increase efficiency and effectiveness and to keep the college on the leading edge.

Assist with events and related duties or special projects as assigned.
