Job Summary :
We are looking for a seasoned PHP Developer with over 8 years of experience in web development and application support. This role requires a professional with strong technical acumen in PHP development and hands-on experience in debugging, maintaining, and supporting critical business applications in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure PHP-based web applications.
- Provide Level 2 / 3 support for business-critical applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product) for issue resolution and system enhancements.
- Monitor logs, system health, and performance metrics to proactively address potential issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and create documentation for recurring incidents.
- Assist in release management, patch updates, and system upgrades.
- Mentor junior developers and support engineers when necessary.
Required Skills :
8+ years of experience in PHP (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, or Core PHP).Strong hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other RDBMS.Proficient in front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery.Strong understanding of REST APIs, web services, and system integrations.Experience in application support, production troubleshooting, and incident handling.Familiarity with Linux environments, Apache / Nginx servers, and basic shell scripting.Proficient in using tools like JIRA, Git, ServiceNow, or similar.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Nice-to-Have :
Experience in CI / CD pipelines, Docker, or Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).Knowledge of CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Magento.Experience working in Agile / Scrum-based environments.Prior experience in customer support or client-facing roles.Soft Skills :
