About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join their legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for examining and reviewing a variety of contracts and agreements related to design and construction projects, leases, and insurance. This role involves providing legal advice, preparing reports, and participating in the management of legal actions. The Senior Corporate Counsel will also work closely with internal stakeholders to assess legal and business risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure the company's legal interests are protected.
Applicants must have a Juris Doctor degree, be licensed to practice law, and have a minimum of 5 years' legal experience, with a preference for those with a background in engineering and construction law. The role requires experience in managing and resolving engineering and construction disputes, as well as expertise in the preparation, review, and negotiation of design and construction contracts. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, and be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
