Project Structural Engineer (Philadelphia)

A leading multi-disciplinary engineering firm is seeking a Project Structural Engineer to join its growing Philadelphia-based team. With a strong reputation for delivering innovative and high-impact infrastructure and facility solutions this organization is looking for a structural engineering professional to manage a diverse portfolio of design renovation and inspection projects across a range of sectors including commercial institutional public-sector and industrial facilities.

This full-time role offers the opportunity to lead project efforts from concept through construction while collaborating with other talented engineers architects and clients to shape the built environment across the Mid-Atlantic region.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and perform structural design and analysis for new construction adaptive reuse and renovation projects.
• Execute detailed calculations and create construction drawings using materials such as concrete steel masonry wood and cold-formed metal framing.
• Design structural systems for both low-rise and high-rise buildings across multiple markets.
• Conduct on-site assessments condition evaluations and field inspections; produce detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Develop and utilize finite element models for analyzing complex structures.
• Collaborate directly with clients to maintain strong working relationships and deliver tailored engineering solutions.
• Contribute to team development and knowledge sharing while mentoring junior engineers.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure compliance with local state and national codes and standards across all phases of the project lifecycle.
